Who is this course for?
People seeking to gain practical confidence and skills to secure local food supply lines and to restore and re-hydrate landscapes to create sustainable self- reliance in communities.
Objectives
This practical training will give participants the opportunity to learn hands‐on skills in Permaculture design systems with a focus on food, tree, animal and crop systems.
Outcomes
Participants will gain the confidence to sustainably grow healthy nutritious crops as well as basic soil biology, composting, and organic pest management. They then will have basic skills to move forward and start to grow food naturally that is healthy nutritious and fresh from their own home gardens.
Please note: This course content, can be structured to directly meet the needs of the students, climate and landscape. Topics can be deleted if they’re not needed and more time spent on specific topics to meet the needs of students. We can develop courses to meet the needs of clients and the needs of students.
