Anyone who wants to learn about permaculture, and they want to or already have a veggie garden at home, but they want to make it all work. Come and have fun and learn how to grow fresh crispy mineral rich sustainable home grown produce.
Objectives
This course provides students, with an outline and understanding of permaculture concepts, strategies and techniques to design and build a food garden system.
Outcomes
Students will gain an understanding of the principles of Permaculture.
Students will learn to:
1- Assess land potential, methods of design and develop a plan for an edible garden.
2-Understand and learn the needs of plants and how to build and maintain a healthy soil food web.
